High interest, mature content, but reader-friendly books provide the basis for improving sight vocabulary, phonic skills, comprehension and reading fluency.

The primary mission of Wrinkled Pants Software, Ltd. is to develop software applications to improve the literacy skills of underachieving elementary and secondary school students who struggle with inadequate reading skills, thus affecting their work in every area of the curriculum. My Word! Readers are sophisticated in design, yet easy to use.  Each application is customized and personalized to the individual learner.

Wrinkled Pants Software was founded in 2010, by CEO Dr. Selma Wassermann, Professor Emerita in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University.  Wassermann brings her skills as a teacher, researcher, writer and educational innovator, with a strong background in developmental and remedial reading and educational technology to the creation and production of My Word! Reader.
