Dr. Selma Wassermann is the CEO and President of Wrinkled Pants software.
Dr. Wassermann, Emerita Professor in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University, is known internationally for her innovative work in education. Wassermann’s list of publications is extensive, and includes educational textbooks, children’s books and curriculum materials, and journal articles. Her areas of specialization are children’s learning, reading and literacy, case method teaching and teaching for thinking. She has taught in both elementary and secondary schools in New York and California, and in graduate, undergraduate and professional programs in several universities and is in much demand as a speaker and leader of seminars and workshops throughout the world. Recipient of the Award of Teaching Excellence at Simon Fraser University, Dr. Wassermann is now the creative spirit behind My Word! Readers and the CEO of Wrinkled Pants Software, Ltd.
John Horodyski is the Director of Business Development and Marketing for Wrinkled Pants software.
John Horodyski is also Principal, DAM Education where he provides strategic direction and consulting on Digital Asset Management (DAM) implementations including metadata and taxonomy design for such Fortune 500 clients as Roche, Tyco as well as Kantar Video, Sub-Zero Wolfe and the Ford Foundation. John is also Adjunct Faculty at San José State University where he teaches a graduate course in Digital Asset Management. At Electronic Arts, the largest videogame publisher in the world, John was the Worldwide Studios Digital Asset Manager where he managed the implementation of their global digital asset management system with more than 500,000 digital photographs and 2D and 3D art assets for creative and publishing needs. He has published professional articles on digital media and metadata as well as presented papers on metadata and video games at various conferences. He holds a Masters Archival Studies and Masters Library and Information Science from the University of British Columbia and serves on the Board of the Journal of Digital Media Management.
